Application
For you alone, at bath time: Light Taiga and place it on the edge of the bathtub. When you get out of the tub, carefully dry your skin and apply the warm oil of the candle as you would normally apply your body oil or lotion.
Pleasure for two: In a warm room with soft lights, place the candle over a saucer on a flat surface and light the wick. 10 to 15 minutes are all you need to melt a sufficient quantity of massage oil and allow for optimum diffusion of the aromatic scents.
Protect the sofa or bed with a bath towel. Ask your partner to lie down. Hold the candle between your hands for a few seconds to warm your palms.
Pour a small amount of oil onto the body or into the palm of your hand. Place lit candle back onto the saucer.
Immediately smooth the warmed product over the area of the body to be massaged, using wide and glow gliding movements. Begin the massage: alternate palms, fingers, as well as wrists and forearms, to vary the sensations for your partner. Pay special attention to tense or painful areas, working carefully over those zones.
During this time, take more oil as often as needed.
Then ask your partner to turn over. Repeat these movements on the other parts of the body, including the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet.
If necessary, blot excess oil with a damp washcloth. Blow out candle at end of treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Taiga Massage Oil Candle good for dry skin?
Yes. The Taiga Massage Oil Candle melts into a warm, hydrating body oil formulated to soothe dry skin because it contains organic sesame oil for lightweight hydration, shea butter for long-lasting emollience, and organic mango butter rich in vitamin E to support skin barrier comfort. The melted oil helps lock in moisture while providing a supple texture that is more nourishing than many water-based lotions. This product benefits anyone with dry patches, seasonal dehydration, or rough areas on the body, and it is especially effective in colder months when skin needs extra nourishment. For those with severe eczema or clinically dry skin, it is a helpful indulgent ritual but should be used alongside any prescribed medical treatments and after consulting a dermatologist.
How do I use the Taiga Massage Oil Candle safely?
Light the Taiga Massage Oil Candle and allow a shallow pool of melted oil to form, then extinguish the flame and test a small amount on your inner wrist before pouring onto larger areas. The candle is designed to transform into a warm massage oil; letting it burn briefly warms the blend of organic sesame oil, shea butter and organic mango butter so it glides easily. Always blow out the flame before pouring, check temperature, and avoid applying to broken skin or near the eyes. This routine suits couples, home spa rituals, and professional therapists seeking a warmed, aromatic oil. For safety, keep the candle on a heatproof surface and follow basic flame precautions.
Can I use the melted oil on my face?
No, the Taiga Massage Oil Candle is formulated for body use and is not recommended for regular facial application. Its rich composition of shea butter and organic mango butter creates a heavier emollient texture that can be too occlusive for facial skin, and the essential oil blend inspired by the taiga forest may be stronger than typical facial formulations. This product benefits body areas that need deep hydration such as legs, arms and décolleté. If you are curious about a very small spot test on the jawline, do a patch test first and consult a skincare professional before applying to sensitive facial areas.
Is the Taiga Massage Oil Candle suitable for sensitive skin or allergies?
A patch test is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin or known allergies. The candle contains botanical butters and essential oils including Siberian pine, cypress, cedar and a touch of citrus, which are naturally derived yet can provoke sensitivity in some individuals. Organic sesame oil, shea butter and organic mango butter offer nourishing benefits but may not suit everyone, and people with tree nut or mango sensitivities should exercise caution. This product best serves those without known fragrance or botanical sensitivities who enjoy plant-based aromatherapy. If you have a history of reactions, test on a small area and consult your healthcare provider before regular use.
How long will one Taiga Massage Oil Candle last?
One Taiga Massage Oil Candle typically provides multiple uses, though exact longevity depends on how much oil you pour per session. Because the candle melts into a concentrated body oil, a small pool can cover a localized massage while larger pours will be needed for full-body treatments. The solid-to-oil format means the product is portion-controlled by how much melted oil you take each time. This makes it a versatile choice for occasional rituals, gifting, or regular at-home spa sessions. If you prefer long single sessions you will use more product per use, whereas brief targeted sessions will stretch the candle over many treatments.
Can I use the Taiga Massage Oil Candle as a regular body oil?
Yes. When melted, the Taiga Massage Oil Candle functions as a rich body oil suitable for moisturization and massage because its formula blends organic sesame oil with shea and organic mango butter for emollience and vitamin E support. The warmed texture enhances absorption and leaves skin feeling soft and nourished while imparting a woodsy, restorative fragrance. This makes it ideal for post-bath application or as part of an evening self-care ritual. Keep in mind that the scent and richness are more substantial than many lightweight bottled body oils, so those with very oily skin or strong fragrance sensitivity may prefer lighter formulations for daily use.
How strong is the scent of the Taiga Massage Oil Candle?
The scent is designed to be subtle and comforting rather than overpowering. Taiga combines woodsy notes of Siberian pine, cypress and cedar with a hint of citrus to evoke the taiga forest; as the candle warms, the essential oil blend gently diffuses into the immediate space and the skin. Because it is an essential-oil-driven fragrance layered into an oil format, the aroma reads as natural and restorative rather than synthetic. This suits buyers who appreciate refined botanical scents in a home-spa setting. If you are highly fragrance-sensitive, consider testing the scent in a small area first or using it in well-ventilated spaces.
Is the Taiga Massage Oil Candle travel-friendly and allowed on planes?
It is not ideal for air travel and may be subject to airline restrictions. The candle’s 125 gram weight and the fact that it melts into a liquid oil mean it could exceed carry-on liquid allowances and may be considered a flammable item by some carriers. For car travel and checked luggage the candle can be more practical, provided it is stored upright and kept away from heat sources. This product is best for home use or local travel where you can manage storage temperature. Always check airline and local regulations before bringing any candle or meltable oil-based product on a flight.
How does the Taiga Massage Oil Candle compare to a traditional bottled massage oil?
Compared with a traditional bottled massage oil, the Taiga Massage Oil Candle offers a warmed, sensorial ritual plus nourishing butters for a richer texture. The candle melts into an oil that blends organic sesame oil with shea and organic mango butter rich in vitamin E, delivering both glide and emollience while releasing a woodsy essential oil fragrance. This format enhances the ritual aspect and provides localized warmth that many associate with spa treatments. However, it is generally thicker and more aromatic than many bottled oils, so professionals or users seeking a very neutral, lightweight glide may prefer standard oils for longer therapy sessions. The candle excels for intimate, restorative home treatments.
How should I store the Taiga Massage Oil Candle to preserve quality?
Store the Taiga Massage Oil Candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve its fragrance and texture. Excessive warmth can soften the candle and alter the scent profile, while prolonged light exposure can degrade essential oil nuance. Keep the lid or packaging closed between uses to limit oxidation and prevent dust accumulation. This approach benefits anyone who wants consistent performance and an enduring aromatic experience over time. Avoid extreme cold which may change the texture temporarily, and always keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
