Did you know?A little history

Hemp has been grown for its textile fibers for thousands of years; CBD was only first isolated in the 1940s, by the American chemist Roger Adams.

Long confused with THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis, CBD only revealed its scientific interest in the 1990s, with the discovery of the endocannabinoid system, present in the skin as in the rest of the body1.

Yon-Ka uses CBD from regulated European hemp, free of THC, in a serum designed as a moment of relaxation as much as a treatment.

General useThe skin's endocannabinoid system

Skin has its own endocannabinoid system, a network of receptors that regulates inflammation, sebum production and the perception of discomfort. CBD interacts with this system without any psychoactive effect, unlike THC2.

CBD vs. THC: what's the difference? CBD is not psychoactive. The CBD in our formula comes from authorized hemp varieties and contains no detectable THC; it is made in France in compliance with European cosmetics regulations.
