Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Yon-Ka Paris

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer affecting women in the United States with an estimated 281,550 new cases being diagnosed each year. Breast Cancer Awareness month happens each October and it provides an excellent opportunity to join the fight against breast cancer. Show your support for Cancer + Careers with a financial donation or by donating your time or services or choose another organization or research foundation to support. In addition to supporting these organizations, raise awareness among your friends and family. Encourage your friends and family to keep up with their annual physicals and to start annual breast cancer screenings after age 40. Be proactive about your own health and be an advocate for others in the ongoing fight against breast cancer.
