Yon-Ka’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Yon-Ka is pleased to partner with Cancer + Careers as a way to give back to brave women and men who are fighting cancer. Cancer + Careers is a division of the Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation. Their primary focus is to give back to women and men who are currently fighting cancer or are in remission by providing them with services, whether they remain in the workforce during treatment or are looking to go back to work after cancer. Breast Cancer Statistics

About one in eight women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer during her lifetime. An estimated 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in 2017, along with 63,410 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. With so many cases of breast cancer being diagnosed all the time, it’s important that we do our part and give back. We can donate to help fund research for a cure, as well as give money to organizations that provide the right resources to women and men who are currently fighting this battle.

It’s designed to eliminate or reduce the fear people are facing and provide them with the confidence they need to go to work every single day. How Yon-Ka is Giving Back

Throughout the month of October, Yon-Ka will be running a donation campaign in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. How Else You Can Help

There are a variety of other things you can do to help women who are fighting breast cancer around the world. There are a number of research foundations you can donate to in order to provide funding to find a cure for this disease. Many organizations also have events and races you can attend and raise money for. It’s also important that you spread the awareness about breast cancer by encouraging your friends and family to perform routine checks and visit their doctor for a mammogram every year. With so many new cases of breast cancer every year, the best thing you can do is to be proactive about your health.
